SHENANGO VALLEY SHUTTLE SERVICE
This is just a reminder that the Shenango Valley Shuttle Service provides a route for our students to and from school. This is a public bus, and it costs 25 cents per ride. This is a great option for getting your child to school.
Please download the MYSTOP app for up-to-date route information. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have.
If your child has never been on a city bus it may be a good idea to ride with them for the first time. Please send a note to the school so we can ensure they arrive and go home on the shuttle if it is their first time.

Due to forecasted wind chill and cold temperatures, Sharon Schools will be implementing our Flexible Instructional Day (FID) Plan on Thursday, January 9. All students will participate in instruction from home and all school buildings will be closed. Students are to log in to their Google classrooms and complete classwork or complete packets as assigned during the regularly scheduled school day. Information regarding FID procedures was sent home with students previously and can be found on the homepage of the District website: www.sharonsd.org.
Student participating in the COOL or READ program are to log in using their Chromebooks.
All Sharon Middle and High School after school activities are still scheduled at this time.

Elementary wrestling is for any student in Kindergarten to 6th grade. We encourage every student to come try out this awesome sport! You will receive more information about practice times at sign-up.

Attention 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students,
Join us on Wednesday, November 13th in the high school gym for our exciting King of the Mat takedown tournament! This event will begin around 515 for 3rd and 4th and 615 for 5th and 6th. A dodgeball warmup game will begin the festivities, followed by King of the Mat, and finally free pizza for all participants after their group is done. More information will be coming your way soon. Hope to see you Wednesday the 13th.

Hocus Pocus Movie Night
Please come join us for HOCUS POCUS NIGHT on Wednesday, October 30th at 5:30 in the West Hill Gym. The cost will be $3 per ticket which includes a free bag of popcorn. We will also be selling candy and water for just $.50. Don't forget to also bring a blanket to sit on, as we will be sitting picnic style.
