Anything is Paws-ible When You’re Drug Free!

 

Dear Parents and Guardians,

 

During the last weeks of October 2021, communities and schools all over America will participate in the Red Ribbon Campaign.  The Red Ribbon symbolizes a national commitment to eliminate alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs as a choice among the youth of America.

 

The Sharon elementary schools will be participating in this campaign during the school week of October 25th – Oct. 29th.  The theme for this year is: Anything is Paws-ible When You’re Drug Free!   Throughout the week, students will receive prevention materials, be provided a necklace, and participate in theme days.  As a TEAM of parents, teachers, and students we must work together to help our children make positive choices for themselves.  Please join us in reinforcing the DRUG FREE message in your home.

 

Please encourage your child to participate in our DRUG FREE effort by dressing according to each day’s theme.  Dress code bottoms/pants must be worn all week.  The week’s schedule is as follows:

Marvel-ous Monday - 10/25/21

Wear a Marvel shirt and/or Red accessories!

Let’s KICKOFF Red Ribbon Week with your favorite Marvel character T-Shirt.  You can also wear RED accessories today 

(jewelry, socks, shoes, hair ties, etc.) 

Let’s show everyone that our SUPERPOWER is to stay DRUG FREE!

Team Up Tuesday - 10/26/21

Wear your favorite Team Jersey!

Surround yourself with a TEAM of DRUG FREE friends!

Wacky Wednesday - 10/27/21

Wear a Tie-Dyed Shirt

Tropical Thursday - 10/28/21

Wear a Hawaiian or Tropical Shirt or accessories

It’s an ORANGE OUT at the Sharon Elementary Schools!
