Case Avenue, Middle School and High School parents and guardians. Please be informed that parking at Marco's Pizza Shop is no longer permitted. As I mentioned in my post from February 22, 2021, the manager of the store had asked for cooperation when parking in the lot, using only limited spots and not allowing students to run between cars etc. Unfortunately, this has not happened, and there has since been an accident and an child injured. Therefore, beginning immediately, cars parking in the lot at drop off and dismissal will be ticketed and towed. We thank the staff at Marco's for their willingness to try and resolve this issue prior to having to make this decision.

Please share with coaches, parents and any fan of D10 wrestling. Hickory will be doing a live stream of all the matches at the NW Regionals Saturday, February 27 on theri Facebook page “Hickory Wrestling”. They will have one stream per mat with commentary for all rounds. The easiest way to follow your favorite wrestler would be to use one device with floarena and check the upcoming matches. That will tell you what mat they’re on so you can watch.

Case Avenue, Sharon Middle and Sharon High School parents and guardians. Please note that we have been informed that the managers of the Marco's Pizza site on East State Street are having issues with a number of our students playing on site and with parents/guardians parking in their lots, blocking their business. The issues are as follows: 1. Students are playing on/around the store's dumpster. This is dangerous and when asked to stop the students have not done so. NO Student is to be on the property after school unless being picked up. Disciplinary measures will be taken for those who refuse to listen. 2. They don't mind if parents use the parking lot, they just ask that they leave the front 3 spots at the building for their customers and use only the back spots to pick up students. Parents have been known to argue or ignore when they're asked to move. This business is kind enough to make their space available at pick up time but will be notifying the police should parents/guardians refuse to cooperate with this request.
