Swimmer

The Sharon Tiger Swim team made their presence known at the District 10 Swimming Championships on Friday.  

For the girls' team, Ella Labbiento placed 8th in the 200 Yard Freestyle with a personal best time of 2:03.82, and she medaled in the 500 yard freestyle, placing fifth with a personal best time of 5:28.63. 

For the boys team, Mark Cattron was crowned District 10 Champion in the 200 yard Freestyle, with a new record of 1:45.48.  He also medaled in the 100 yard freestyle, taking 3rd with a school record time of 48.45.  Mark will compete at the State Championships next week at Cumberland Valley High School.

Ty Chartraw swam a personal best of 50.86 in the 100 free, and placed 10th overall.

Jake Cattron medaled in the 100 yard breaststroke, placing 5th with a personal best time of 1:05.86.

The relay team of Cattron, Cattron, Chartraw and Gabe Kirsch placed 4th in the 200 Yard freestyle relay, setting a new school record of 1:32.97.  The same team medaled in the 400 yard relay, placing second in a hard-fought race against Cathedral Prep, with a school record time of 3:24.75.
